The more context to remember about⁤ this teacher shortage is that it is about more than just teachers. ⁢Millions of students‌ nationwide are affected by​ having an unqualified or substitute teacher leading a whole ​year of school. So there is a big difference in teacher shortage. Well, ⁤let’s say, a fast food worker shortage. A McDonald’s may be missing two cashiers upfront, but the burgers will still be flipped and sold. However, ⁤when ⁢teachers are absent from schools, children‍ typically do not learn up ⁢to‍ standards. ⁣As a result, the United States ‌ranked 26 out of 81 countries in the international math test, among‍ other disappointing educational outcomes.‍ With artificial intelligence‌ on‍ the⁤ brink of becoming ​the fourth industrial revolution, we have a long ⁢road ahead to ensure our readiness for the upcoming economic leap.
